Charleroi Danses offers choreographers from the French-speaking community the opportunity of an artist's residence. These residences consist of technical and administrative guidance as well as providing a space in which they can work. Residents also benefit from assistance in getting their work more widely seen, giving them an opportunity to break onto the international scene. In ongoing dialogue with the organisation, there are opportunities for them to appear on Charleroi Danses' programme (during the season, Biennale or Compil d'avril) to present phases of their work or the creation itself. The artists currently in residence at Charleroi Danses are Louise Vanneste and Thomas Hauert. Olga de Soto has an administrative residence.
