Known for her collaborations with artists as diverse as Katerine, eRikm, Louis Sclavis and La Ribot, throughout her career Mathilde Monnier has always been pushing the boundaries of dance. In her new work, she is true to her word to make all work primarily an experience. "Dancing despite everything, dancing after everything" could be the preamble to Twin paradox. As if directly echoing her words, Mathilde Monnier has drawn inspiration from the dance marathons which appeared in the United States in the 1920s.
